Harmonising Humanity & AI: The Path to Privacy in Wearable Tech with SHE Zen AI.

Updated: Nov 13, 2023

When is one ecosystem enough, and why use the Social Harmony Engine - SHE Zen AI?

A Microsoft Basket of Microsoft Products Balanced | Design By Zen
Is it logical to have all your stuff in one rented basket?

I am facing a problem with everything I do, from my work life, professional contacts, IP repository on Github, and home lifestyle to business operations, Cloud apps & usage, and Internet digital life, including storage, information gathering, web browsing, financial services, and leisure time. Moreover, I am concerned about Big Tech artificial intelligence (AI) having direct access to my health data providers and managing them as a single entity. Plan B SHEGPT, Zen AI.

Convenience or simmering catastrophe?

Now, if I said, how would you feel if everything was monitoring how you felt when you typed it or how you spoke to an app? What if I suggested the movement of your body was also generating data, and you probably don't own the data generated under this patent? [1]

"Rumi" I have a problem with my physical body domain assumed a big tech commodity. Given the company's appalling security record, how could this go wrong? [2] Too many eggs in one basket? It's not limited to Microsoft; Apple has had my money for 20 years buying the "essentials." I'm happy!

My opinion is we have become addicted to the "I Agree" in return for the use of the software that also gave the rights to the supplier. I wasn't very comfortable with the video, but it's the reality versus the glitz that our biases desire. Secondly, I think the last line sentence should ring alarm bells as empty justifications - quote, "A lot of users everywhere complain that AI somehow lacks a human soul, but this technology will allow AI to come as close to a human as possible, for now." end quote. What big tech company has the company ethos "To enrich our User's soul above managing the Share and Option holder value." ?

Here is the text from the Rumi project site.

"Microsoft Project Rumi is a new large language model (LLM) AI that is capable of handling paralinguistic input when interacting with others. This means this AI model will see your facial expressions, your voice tone, your gestures, and your eye movements and will form an idea about the attitude of your interaction.

Microsoft Project Rumi comes to address the current limitations of AI when interacting with a human person. For example, a text-only-based conversation with Bing Chat won’t be enough for Bing to actually see your facial expressions when addressing it. It won’t be enough to form an answer that could also respond to your attitude. It’s true, Bing Chat can get very creative sometimes, and when you’re using certain words, the tool will provide a sensible answer, more or less. But ultimately, it can’t answer you properly, since it’s not seeing and hearing you."

But now, thanks to Microsoft Project Rumi, the AI languages will use your device’s microphone and camera, with your permission, of course, to actually hear you and see you. And based on your complex input, which includes your facial expressions, tone of voice, and so on, the AI model will answer you back accordingly.

Microsoft Project Rumi, like multiple other Microsoft AI projects, is a breakthrough in AI technology. A lot of users everywhere complain that AI somehow lacks a human soul, but this technology will allow AI to come as close to a human as possible, for now."

Now read this in conjunction with the 2018 US / 2019 world Wide Patents granted & examine a few question & answers to consider. I explain how SHEGPT's a Zen AI approach and alternative for special few.

Quote from the US 2018 & WTO 2019 Patent Summary

Quote "[0005] Some exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure may use human body activity associated with a task provided to a user as a solution to“mining” challenges in cryptocurrency systems. For example, a brain wave or body heat emitted from the user when the user performs the task provided by an information or service provider, such as viewing advertisement or using certain internet services, can be used in the mining process. Instead of massive computation work required by some conventional cryptocurrency systems, data generated based on the body activity of the user can be a proof-of-work, and therefore, a user can solve the computationally difficult problem unconsciously. Accordingly, certain exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure may reduce computational energy for the mining process as well as make the mining process faster." end quote [2]

Q1: What is Microsoft Project Rumi, and how does it change the landscape of AI and personal interaction? Why is SHEGPT Zen AI better?

Project Rumi represents a significant shift toward a more intuitive AI, but it's not without challenges. It underscores the need for alternatives that prioritise ethical considerations. This is where boutique solutions like SHEGPT come into play. By focusing on the Guidance & Consensus mechanism within the Hyfron Approach, SHE Zen AI aims to balance technical excellence with a commitment to reducing suffering, increasing prosperity, and understanding — ideals that may be compromised when market dominance is the driving force.

Q2: How does wearable technology like Project Rumi impact personal privacy and data security?

Project Rumi's advancements underscore a new era where our devices understand more than ever before. However, they also bring to light concerns around continuous monitoring and data privacy. "SenseMe" is a pivotal work in this domain, demonstrating that on-device and multi-dimensional context recognition can be achieved without user calibration, raising the bar for privacy-preserving technologies. As described by Bhargava et al. (2014), systems that recognise a user's context unobtrusively pave the way for more personal and relevant user experiences while also introducing concerns about the potential for constant surveillance. [2]

Q3: Who are the major players in the wearable technology patent space, and what does their dominance imply for the industry and consumers?

The dominance of key players in wearable tech patents signals a trend toward consolidated innovation. However, boutique tech, exemplified by SHE Zen AI, presents a compelling counter-narrative. Smaller entities often drive specialised innovation, focusing on user empowerment and ethical standards, presenting a stark contrast to the "one-size-fits-all" approach that can stem from market dominance.

Q4: Can you tell us more about the "SenseMe" white paper and its implications on privacy with wearable tech?

In 2018 I found the "SenseMe" white paper offers an insightful analysis into the potential and pitfalls of context-aware systems. [3] The system, conceptualised by Bhargava, Gramsky, and Agrawala (2014), showcases the capability of smartphones to harness multiple sensors for accurate context and activity recognition, which informs the design principles of boutique solutions like SHE Zen AI. This baseline technology, if leveraged responsibly, aligns with the Hyfron Approach's Heuristic Imperatives and Holistic Objectives, offering a paradigm where user comfort and privacy are paramount . The Algorithms at Work white paper of 2019 [4] also, I feel, lays the historical stepping stones for our case of consideration and caution. We have mind mapped these as we see the solutions or considerations in an infographic in the About and SHEGPT ZEN AI page.

Conclusion:

To sum up, while big tech continues to push the frontiers of AI with projects like Rumi, there is an essential place for boutique tech solutions that emphasise technical excellence and ethical integrity. SHE Zen AI embodies this by offering a holistic, user-centric alternative that seeks to harmonise technology with human values, ensuring that advancements in AI and wearable technology align with the imperatives of reducing suffering, increasing prosperity, and enhancing understanding. Rolling forward legacy technology with vulnerabilities from the 1980's such as expired security certificates as I found in an out of the box fresh OS scan will be found out and exploited by automation.
